Basic information
Colorless, low boiling flammable liquid with ether like odor. Industrial products are racemic mixtures of two optical isomers. Partially miscible with water, with a solubility of 40.5% (by weight) in water at 20 ° C and a solubility of 12.8% (by weight) in epoxy propane. It is miscible with ethanol and ether and forms a binary azeotrope with dichloromethane, pentane, pentene, cyclopentane, cyclopentene, etc.

Application
